Hemp producers’ conference brings professionals to Binghamton

Topics of discussion at the event included legal issues, production and regulation regarding the hemp-growing industry. “It has to be of equal quality and price, but if we can replace fossil-fuel based product with agriculturally based, bio-based products, then I think we should move toward that,” says Horticulture Professor at Cornell University Larry Smart.
